You will receive a zip file upon purchase, extract this file and then in Tonex right click on any Preset and choose import preset. Select all the downloaded presets and that should be it! Note, the zip may be split into DIRECT and Full Rig captures, if you want to use both, import both folders separately.
I've received some complaints from a subset of users that clean captures are distorting when they play them on their software or via the ToneX pedal. This is a deep topic and has some online debate regarding input trim, DI levels and a host of other issues. Our captures are created via an Axe I/O set with just a small bump on the input gain (a proper DI level as your would use tracking in a DAW). The software input trim is unchanged (set at 0db) and all captures should sound "correct". For more info on this topic try starting with the videos from Jason Sadites or XergoRMusic or Plan Zed.
