Friedman BE-100 Deluxe – NAM Capture Pack (2026 Update)

The Friedman BE-100 Deluxe is a flagship of modern British tone, a hand-wired, 100-watt EL34-powered amp capable of everything from Plexi-style cleans to the tight, articulate high-gain sounds that defined a generation of rock and metal.

This pack was captured from scratch during the same sessions used for updated V2 releases on other platforms, using a carefully balanced blend of Mesa Boogie V30 and Marshall Heritage 30 cabinets. The result is a highly versatile NAM pack that delivers the BE-100 Deluxe’s dynamic feel, clarity, and punch directly into your DAW or NAM-compatible hardware.

Most captures in this pack were newly created or updated in 2026 (except for the Preamp only captures), focusing on improved consistency, accuracy, and real amp response.

All models are trained to 1000 epochs for consistent convergence and improved accuracy.

Model Technology

All captures were trained using the REVxSTD algorithm, designed to more accurately model nonlinear amp behavior across the full signal range. This results in:

• Improved transient response
• Tighter low end
• More consistent gain structure
• More natural response to pick attack and guitar volume

The HyperAccurate / Complex DI variants use longer and more detailed training passes, further refining harmonic detail and dynamic interaction. In practice, this provides:

• Better note definition
• More realistic compression characteristics
• Enhanced feel, especially at higher gain levels

Calibration & Input Level

All captures were level-matched and calibrated to +12.5 dBu using a Universal Audio Apollo x6 to maintain a consistent input reference.

For best results, use a properly gain-staged DI signal. Input level directly affects gain, dynamics, and overall tonal balance.
