The FMAN 100 Deluxe V2 Pack is a complete ground-up recapture of the Friedman BE-100 Deluxe for the Neural DSP Quad Cortex using the new Quad Cortex Neural Capture V2 technology. Captured entirely from scratch, this updated release delivers improved dynamics, transient response, low-end accuracy, and a more realistic interaction between your guitar and the capture itself.

Designed to cover the full range of the BE-100 Deluxe platform, this pack moves from Plexi-style cleans and edge-of-breakup crunch to tight modern rhythm tones and saturated lead sounds, while maintaining the articulate, punchy character that made the original amp a modern classic.

About the Amp

The Friedman BE-100 Deluxe is a versatile high-gain amplifier built to bridge vintage British character with modern flexibility. Featuring multiple channels, voicing options, gain structures, and power amp shaping controls, it can move seamlessly between dynamic cleans, classic rock crunch, and aggressive high-gain tones without losing clarity or feel.

The BE channel delivers tight, punchy classic rock tones with strong midrange articulation, while the HBE channel expands into higher-gain territory with increased saturation, sustain, and harmonic richness. Combined with the amp’s responsive feel and Plexi-inspired foundation, it has become a go-to platform for players seeking expressive, touch-sensitive high-gain tones.

Tone and Usage

The new Neural Capture V2 process significantly improves the realism and responsiveness of the captures, particularly in how they track pick attack, guitar volume changes, low-end behavior, and dynamic transitions between clean and driven tones.

DI captures allow you to pair the amp tones with your own IRs, cabinet simulations, or real cabinets, while the Full Rig captures provide polished, mix-ready tones designed for immediate use in recording, FRFR, FOH, or live performance environments.

These captures were designed to preserve the amp’s natural feel under the fingers, with improved articulation, tighter response, and more realistic gain behavior across a wide range of playing styles.

Quad Cortex Delivery Process

Due to Neural DSP’s ecosystem restrictions, Quad Cortex pack delivery requires a small amount of manual setup.

When purchasing, please include your Cortex Cloud account name during checkout. You must also follow CoreToneCaptures on Cortex Cloud (at CoreToneCaptures ) so the captures and presets can be shared to your account.
