2Rock Continuum Pack V2+

This ToneX bundle is built around one amp and one philosophy: capturing the feel, dynamics, and musical response of my 100-watt Two Rock Traditional Clean while drawing inspiration from those classic John Mayer tones (espeically from the Continuum era).

It started with the original V1 Mayer Pack, which many players still love for its tone and touch. When IK released the new ToneX V2 capture technology, I went back and did a full V2 recapture from scratch — improving clarity, low-end definition, and dynamic response while staying true to what made the original pack special.

After spending time with the recently released official John Mayer Neural DSP plugin, I took it as a rare “behind the curtain” look at how John builds his tones — his gain staging, pedal settings, EQ choices, and how he balances feel vs. fidelity. That insight became the inspiration for a brand-new Mayer-Inspired Addendum, through my versatile clean Two Rock Traditional Clean platform. 

What You Get

The bundle includes:
• V1 Legacy Mayer Pack – for anyone who still loves those original tones
• V2 Core Recapture Pack – rebuilt from the ground up with V2 tech
• V2 Mayer-Inspired Addendum – a fresh set of tones shaped by John’s current settings and feel

You can pick and choose what you install — or load everything and mix them into your own presets.

Inside the Mayer-Inspired Addendum

Just in this add-on alone, you’ll find:
• 46 DI captures
• 92 Full Rig (Amp + Cab) captures

There’s a wide range from sparkling cleans to edge-of-breakup textures, with lots of pedal-driven variations so you’re not just getting louder or darker versions of the same sound — you’re getting different feels and responses.

For this round I leaned harder into the full-rig tone and low-end authority, especially in the cab captures:

• Two Rock 2x12 w/ G12-65s – warmer, rounder, and bigger
• Fender Princeton 1x10 w/ Jensen – brighter and more intimate, but still full

The included ToneX V2 technology pack consists of:
• 42 DI captures
• 95 Full Rig (Amp + Cab) captures (also added a Carvin Legacy 2x12 alongside the Two Rock and Fender Cabs)

Everything is voiced to preserve the amp’s signature bounce, clarity, and touch sensitivity.
