2Rock Continuum Pack (NAM A2)

The Two-Rock Traditional Clean is widely regarded as one of the most expressive clean platforms available, delivering high headroom, rich harmonic detail, and exceptional touch sensitivity. This 100-watt platform is capable of everything from pristine, piano-like cleans to smooth edge-of-breakup tones that respond directly to your hands.

This pack is built around that core philosophy, capturing the feel, dynamics, and musical response of a real Two-Rock Traditional Clean while drawing inspiration from classic John Mayer tones, especially from the Continuum era.

The captures were created during the same sessions used for updated V2 releases on other platforms, with a focus on preserving the amp's natural bounce, clarity, and responsiveness. Additional inspiration was taken from recent insight into Mayer's modern tone shaping approach from his signature plugin, including gain staging, EQ balance, and pedal interaction, resulting in a wider range of usable, mix-ready tones.

This updated release includes both NAM A1 (REVxSTD) and the latest NAM A2 models, giving players access to the proven REVxSTD workflow alongside Neural Amp Modeler's newest architecture for even greater realism and responsiveness.

What's Included

• All Original DI and Amp/CAB captures from the original release (currently A1 standard only)
• 31 New DI Captures (A1 REVxSTD / A2)
• 58+ New CAB Captures (A1 REVxSTD / A2) – multiple cab flavors for tonal variety

Model Technology

This pack includes both NAM A1 (REVxSTD) and the latest NAM A2 models. The A1 captures were trained using the REVxSTD algorithm (or standard for V1 captures), with all A1 models trained to 1000 epochs for consistent convergence and improved accuracy. REVxSTD more accurately models nonlinear amp behavior across the full signal range, resulting in:

• Improved transient response
• Tighter and more controlled low end
• More consistent gain structure
• More natural response to pick attack and guitar volume

The included A2 models leverage Neural Amp Modeler's next-generation architecture, providing exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamic response, and harmonic detail while faithfully preserving the expressive clean-to-breakup character of the Two-Rock Traditional Clean.

Cabinet Section

The cabinet captures focus on complementing the Two-Rock platform's natural character:

• Two-Rock 2x12 (G12-65 speakers) – warm, full, and expansive
• Fender Princeton 1x10 (Jensen) – tighter, more focused, and immediate

These options allow you to move between larger, room-filling clean tones and more intimate, direct responses without losing the amp's core identity.

Calibration & Input Level

All captures were level-matched and calibrated to +12.5 dBu using a Universal Audio Apollo x6 to maintain a consistent input reference.

For best results, use a properly gain-staged DI signal. Input level directly affects gain, dynamics, and overall tonal balance.
